Gifted and Talented Education (GATE)

Grades K-8

Dublin uses the CogAT (verbal, quantitative and nonverbal) to identify GATE students. Parents of students in grades 3-5 register during a January window, pay a small fee, and the test is given in March at each school; results come 8-10 weeks later. Once identified, a student does not test again.
