Grades K-12

Garden Grove tests students in grades K-11 after a teacher or parent referral (incoming TK and kindergarten students are not tested). GATE tests are given twice a year, in winter (January/February) and summer (June). A student can test at most three times between K and 11th grade, and not within 9 months of a previous test.
