Gifted and Talented (GT)

Grades K-12

All Mansfield ISD 2nd graders are automatically screened in the first semester using teacher and parent input and test data. Students in K, 1 and 3-6 are tested on referral in the second-semester testing window (referrals accepted year-round): parents get the referral form from the campus GT Specialist, and the student takes an online cognitive assessment at school. A campus GT Review Committee decides using the cognitive scores and parent and teacher surveys.
