Highly Capable Services

Grades K-12

Northshore (Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville) universally screens grades 1 and 5 each fall in class; students in other grades need a referral. Every student needs parent permission for the assessment step. For 2026-27, referrals (with permission in the same form) opened in August and close October 10, 2026. First graders take the Naglieri General Ability Test - Quantitative and the Iowa reading test.
