Orange County Public Schools: gifted testing
Gifted program
Grades K-12All second graders are screened through the Universal Gifted Screening Process: a group paper-and-pencil intelligence test at school. High scorers get an individual intelligence test from a school psychologist, teachers complete a gifted characteristics checklist, and a staffing committee decides. Parents and staff can also refer a student in K-12 at any time.
