SAGE (Gifted and Talented)
Grades K-12Rockwall ISD gives the Naglieri General Ability Tests to all kindergartners in January, and to all 2nd and 4th graders in the fall. Students at the 97th percentile or above in verbal, quantitative or nonverbal are evaluated further with parent permission; kindergarten SAGE services start the first week of March. First graders can be referred for testing in May. Grades 3-5 also use NWEA MAP achievement data.
