Tahoma School District: gifted testing
Highly Capable Program
Grades K-12Tahoma (Maple Valley) screens all 2nd and 5th graders with the Naglieri Nonverbal General Ability Test; students who qualify take the full Naglieri General Ability Tests. Parents can refer students in grades K-7 from November 1 to December 31, 2026. The self-contained Discovery program (grades 3-5) typically serves the top 5-7% of the grade.
