Wylie ISD (Collin County) screens kindergartners for GT from September to November; those who meet the initial criteria (MAP scores and teacher observations) are screened further in November-December, with results in late February and services from March. Grades 1-11 have spring nominations: parents complete the referral in early April, students are screened mid-April to the end of May, and parents are emailed results the last week of May.
